I am a passionate educator who loves everything about learning, from the endless possibilities and opportunities that it can provide to the transformative potential that it enables. I see learning as the key to helping individuals, regardless of who they are or their background, change their lives.
My goal is to nurture a love of lifelong learning in my students. Through teaching and coaching my aim is to provide my learners with the tools that they can use to transform into their potential.
I have over ten years experience teaching students from Years 8—12, from English literature to essay writing and a variety of other genres, and have a thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum. I have also taught and tutored at university level, including teaching Education students online with James Cook University for two years. I am currently completing my Master of Learning and Development and providing private tutoring and coaching to high school and university students.
I have also owned and operated my own tutoring centre where I created a complex system of tutoring materials for students from Year 8 to university level. It is these materials, as well as my knowledge and skills, that I consistently build on through my tutoring and coaching.
